We’ve open-sourced a trial version of Factry Historian on GitHub, available via Docker Compose. It spins up a full industrial data stack: Historian + PostgreSQL + InfluxDB + Grafana.
Why? Because too many factories are stuck with old-school historians that are closed, hard to query, and siloed. This setup lets anyone try a modern alternative that’s open and developer-friendly.
